3507G - 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment
This Blue Curtain was strung on a bamboo rod between two rows of wall lockers running from the wall of the squad bay
to a red stripe painted down the length of the squad bay. The wall lockers were lined up along this line and would form rectangular cubicles. This Curtain, which the laundry ladies would order for you, was made on Okinawa. Rank was sometimes sewn-on the Curtain. CLOTHING

Some WW2 HBT items are marked: "made of surplus Army style HBT material"
(see explanation in "Grunt Gear" (USMC Combat Infantry Equipment of World War II) book by Alec S. Tulkoff, page 8)
Excerpt from Grunt Gear, page 8:
"The USMC HBT weave was different from the US Army HBT in that the alternating rows of 45-degree weave were in opposite directions resulting in a chevron appearance. The Army HBT weave included one row of 45-degree and then a straight weave. There were some exceptions when Army weave was used in a Marine contract. This was only done to complete an existing contract."

I have marked some WW2 HBT items as "made of surplus Army style HBT material" (see explanation in "Grunt Gear" (USMC Combat Infantry Equipment of World War II) book by Alec S. Tulkoff, page 8).
Many shirts have the “Gas Flap” cut-off, very common
some shirts have Plain-Metal Buttons vice the common "USMC" Buttons
