(chronicles a young Black Man's life from 1938 - 1952)

(talks of a "Near-Riot between C Company and their Officers" and "their Rifles had to be turned-in")

3484D - USMC Camo Parachute cloth waist-Jacket, chest = 39”+, old “SPOT” Canopy material used, liner is a medium-weight OG cloth that is similar to shelter-half material, the liner is stamped “U. S. M.”(the “C” was cut-off to form the sleeve liner – see picfile), lining material has had several patches that were hand-stitched neatly removed (some thread still present), TALON Zipper slide, old brown buttons on cuffs, old style “hook-loop” closure at the throat, 1 ¼” slit in Camo material on lower right sleeve (see picfile), reddish stains (mainly on the sleeves – some of it looks like Asian red lateritic soil(?)), Used.....inquire

3484E - 6925th RS(M) Tour Jacket, dated 1960, made by NAL Sporting Goods of Manila, Philippines, 2-layer “COBRAS” patch, “Clark Air Base 1960”, chest = 48”+, Ultra-High-Quality materials and craftsmanship, “NYLON” brass zipper(never heard of this brand), initials “LL” inside (see picfile), outershell has a “silky” look and feel(?), has minor storage marks and stains (picked from a Rag Mill), Looks New at 5 feet, Used...inquire

3508DP - Black Tour JACKET dated 1965-66 for Vung-Tau, Vietnam, Hand-embroidered: quilted map of the Vietnams, U. S. and RVN Flags below “VIET – NAM” arcs on sleeves, First Name on left breast above Tiger’s Head, and etc., on the back is: “WHEN I DIE I’LL GO TO HEAVEN BECAUSE I’VE SERVED MY TIME IN HELL”, I believe this is the HIGHEST Quality Tour jacket that I have ever seen that was made in Vietnam, Probably worn 3-4 times(?) = would pass for NEW at 2 paces, even the “YKK” reversible zipper is still stiff, Outstanding example, Used......(sold)

3508DT - Tour JACKET “Duc Pho”, Vietnam 1967 – 1968, hand-embroidered quilted map of: NVN, LAOS, CAMBOT, and RVN; many placenames: CAMAU, VUNGTAU, NHATRANG, QUINHON, QUANGNGAI, DANANG, and HUE; “WHEN I DIE I’LL GO TO HEAVEN BECAUSE I’VE SERVED MY TIME IN HELL”; liner has stains, zipper has been replaced by an old vintage ‘CONMAR” (zipper fits in with a Vietnam made jacket – it is a “cheap-looking” aluminum model), Excellent color, decent size (see below for measurements) minor wear, Used...inquire
